Falafel wrap

A big bite of vitamins


Falafel mix – usually found in the organic/dietary requirements section of the supermarket

A wrap

Half an avocado (hass variety preferably)

Half a tomato

Small portion of cucumber

Quarter of a red onion

Crème fraiche/sour cream/salsa/any other sauce you might fancy


  1. Mix the falafel power with water to the packet specifications and leave to stand, usually for approximately 15 minutes
  2. Heat a thin layer of vegetable oil in a pan
  3. Shape the falafel mixture (which will have soaked up all the water by now) in balls and fry until brown and crispy on the outside
  4. Slice salad ingredients and toast pitta/wrap
  5. Jumble everything together and assemble

Feeling flush?

Add some fresh coriander to the salad mix for a fresh taste.
